Day 1: Osh
Your tour “Wind of Freedom” will start with the meeting with your Kyrgyz driver at the airport in Osh. He will take you to the city. The first destination we are going to visit is Suleiman Mountain. For more than one and a half millennia, Suleiman was a beacon for travelers revered as a sacred mountain. Its five peaks and slopes contain numerous ancient places of worship and caves with petroglyphs as well as two largely reconstructed 16th century mosques. One hundred and one sites with petroglyphs representing humans and animals as well as geometrical forms have been indexed in the property so far. The site is believed to represent the most complete example of a sacred mountain anywhere in Central Asia, worshipped over several millennia. Afterwards, we will go to visit our Asian Bazaar. In Bazaar you will meet with local people, buy some goods haggling with local sellers and be able to take a lot of photos. At the end of the day your transfer will take you to the hotel. It will be the best tour of Central Asia.
Day 2: Osh – Abshir Ata – Osh
After breakfast at the hotel, we will go to an amazing Apshir Ata gorge. There are two famous highlights in the gorge. The first is a sacred waterfall falling from a rock and the second one is an incredible mountain lake. You will have a nice picnic on the shore of the lake and enjoy this lovely place. After the gorge you will come back to the Osh city and have dinner. You will spend the night atithe hotel.
Day 3: Osh – Bishkek
Today we will transfer to the airport to have a flight to Bishkek city, to the capital of our country. You will have a guided tour in Bishkek this entire day where you will get acquainted with the sights of our capital. The city tour includes visits of Victory square, Oak Park, Central Ala-Too Square, Old Square, the National Philharmonic and many other attractions of interest including Asian Bazaar. You will spend some time in this Bazaar, observe the life of local people, take a lot of dynamic photos and buy some goods of your interest. This bazaar is a noisy and colorful tapestry of fabrics, produce, and people selling and buying goods. At the end of the day a transfer will take you to your hotel.
Day 4: Bishkek – Burana – Issyk Kul northern shore
The meeting with the guide will be at 8 am. Today you will go to Issyk-Kul lake which is considered as a pearl of Kyrgyzstan and famous among not only tourists, but also local people. Everyone is amazed by its beauty. However, it is impossible to convey with words, how the lake beautiful is. You will have a great chance to see it once than hear thousand times. It is located among the mountains at an altitude of 1608 meters above sea level and is the world's second Alpine lake. It is believed that the salt water of this lake has healing properties. On the route to Issyk-Kul lake you will visit the Burana Tower established in the 11th century and an open-air Museum of stone warriors. You will spend the night at the hotel.
Day 5: Issyk Kul lake – Son Kul lake
Today we will go to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan – Son Kul Lake. On the way, we will visit ancient stone inscriptions dating back to 800 B.C. These petroglyphs were made more than 2000 years ago by shamans. Son Kul is translated from Kyrgyz language as “The Last Lake”. This lake is surrounded by mountains and it is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan, situated at an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level on a treeless plateau which provides lush meadowland for summer pastures. In fact, there is evidence that it has been used for pasture from very ancient times. The shepherds drive the livestock, usually sheep, cows and horses, up into the mountains, establish a camp where they will live for the summer months – setting up their yurts. The territory of Son Kul Lake is rich in both flora and fauna. Here you can see chamomile, sagebrush, lichen, friar's cap and golden root and even famous Edelweiss. It is possible to see several different species of gulls and ducks; cranes, storks, mergansers, bald-coots, plovers, falcons, golden eagles and on the plain we can see marmots, Marco Polo Sheep, lynx, yaks and other species of animals. After our arrival, you will be free to explore and enjoy the virgin nature of the lake and its surroundings. The tour guarantees you number of pictures of gorgeous sunset and sunrise. After having dinner, we will spend the night in the traditional dwelling of nomads – in the yurts.
Day 6: Son Kul Lake – 33 parrots – Bishkek
In the morning we will drive to Kochkor village. The road goes along amazing 33 parrots pass that is 3, 133 meters high officially known as Teskei Torpok pass. In Kochkor village you will spend some time with a family that will show you the way our national felt carpets are produced. You even will be able to create your own carpet together with them. Also, you will visit a small handicraft museum there. They have many examples of silver decorations, coats made of wolfs, horse saddle decorations, carpets and many other things. Further we will continue our way to Bishkek city. Today you will spend the night in the hotel.
Day 7: Airport
Today you are returning back your home. In the morning the transfer will take you to the hotel. This is the end of your tour named “Wind of Freedom”.
