Tour of a miracle
Day 1: Bishkek – Ala Archa – Bishkek
Driver of a company meets the guests in Manas International Airport for taking to the city trip, visiting Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic. This is going to be made in the first part of the day, as the trip from the airport to Bishkek takes just 30 minutes. After it guests drive cars rented for Ala Archa gorge. Ala Archa gorge – is a gorge based at the Tien Shan mountain range, located in 45km from the capital of Kyrgyzstan. This is also a famous gorge for the opportunities of hiking trips, as well as walking wanderings along the paths. Today for night we return to Bishkek and spend night there in the hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek – Burana – Chon Kemin
The route is going to be interesting as we pass many of sightseeing of the country, as Burana Tower for example. This is the tower, created by the local people about the 11th century. It is basically famous even not for the chance to get at the top for seeing the panorama, but also for the museum of Balbals (stone warriors). Then there is going to be the trip ending at Chon Kemin gorge. The family of the native dwellers offers traditional lunch and then the chance of horse-riding for 3 hours. Here at the heights we are able to get to the farthest corners and be too close to nature. Night and dinner is going to be offered in the stay of these local people.
Day 3: Chon Kemin – Issyk Kul lake northern shore
Continuing the renting cars tour, we travel to Issyk Kul Lake. This is one of the largest lakes of the country, being located too high, at 1608m. It is seen as the lake of 180km long and 60 km wide, being the pearl of the country. 1500 years ago it started being the sacred and meaningful location of the country. By the way, one of interesting facts is seen in the lake being salty and never freezing. Here you have rest and enjoy historical facts. Night is planned in the hotel.
Day 4: Issyk Kul Lake – Karakol
After breakfast at 8am we take a route to Karakol city. It is famous for the surroundings of ancient stone inscriptions of 800BC and petroglyphs created by the local shamans 2000 years ago. By the way, though of the country being of Muslim religion, here still there are shamans, living high in the mountains. Along the trip in Karakol we are going to witness the sites of the religious meaning, being based basically in the north of the country and the lake. These are the Dungan mosque and Orthodox Church. The mosque is famous for being created in the Chinese style, with the second being made out of wood.
Day 5: Karakol – Jeti Oguz
As you are driving to Jeti Oguz gorge, it is important to know some of the facts about it. First it is seen to be of red color, and the second fact is seen in the form of the Bulls. Near the gorge guests can trip to the Broken Heart Mountain and vault it in 20 minutes. This is also the great territory as here we are able to try Kumis, national drink of the people of Kyrgyzstan. Night today is offered in yurts, as well as dinner.
Day 6: Jeti Oguz – Issyk Kul southern shore – Kochkor
Wandering about the lands of the country, along the mountains we get to Kochkor village. It is placed in the south of Issyk Kul lake, and such a trip offers a chance to view it from many different positions. Then we take a stop at Bokonbaeva village, and view the art of eagle-hunting, shown by the local hunters. Night is given in Kochkor village, in the local stay.
Day 7: Kochkor – Son Kul
Have your breakfast and take a route to the other famous and so fantastic lake, Son Kul. It is identified as the alpine lake located at the heights of 3013m. The territory is mountainous as we mentioned, that is why it can be reached during some certain periods of the year. Also it is a perfect site for immersing in the local life, with the communication with the dwellers and nomads coming here to breed the cattle. So you are also able to walk along the natural sights and then have dinner and night in yurts.
Day 8: Son Kul – 33 parrots Pass – Kochkor – Bishkek
Local people are very happy to meet the guests, but we need to leave and return to Bishkek. This route is going to be made along 33 parrots pass, as the heights of 3133m present us exquisite beauty. Then we arrive at Kochkor village and visit the handicraft museum, and get in touch with the local family creating the carpets. In the museum we can view silver decorations, coats made of wolves, horse saddle decorations, carpets. Night is taken in the hotel of Bishkek.
Day 9: Airport
In the morning is transmission to airfield.
