Day 1: Tbilisi
Your driver will pick you up from Tbilisi International Airport and deliver you to Tbilisi. Today you will take a city tour. Visit Tsminda Sameba, Georgia's tallest temple and the major church of the Georgian Orthodox Church. After that, you'll visit Metekhi's historic district to see the Assumption Church, which sits on a lovely hill. The following stops are Rike Park and the modern Bridge of Peace. The cable car will take you to the Narikala stronghold, from where you will get spectacular views over Tbilisi. After that, take a stroll around the Botanical Garden, which is home to a spectacular waterfall. The sulfuric baths, a well-known spa complex (XVII-XIX cc.) constructed on natural sulfur springs, may be seen along the way. Later, you may go to the Sioni Cathedral and the busy Shardeni street, which is dotted with small cafes and art galleries. It is one of the most well-known landmarks in Old Town. You'll be staying in a hotel for the night.
Day 2: Tbilisi – Kakheti – Telavi
You will go to Kakheti in the morning, a picturesque region famed for producing excellent Georgian wines. You'll go to Telavi, the heart of the district, which is known for its breathtaking natural beauty and excellent wine. Following that, you will visit the Tsinandali estate, which is the heritage of the Chavchavadze family, a well-known Georgian dynasty. The estate is known for its lush green maze and cellars, which hold a rare assortment of Georgian and European wines. Following that, you'll go on a tour to Batonis Tsikhe Fortress. You will learn about local wines at the Khareba vineyard. The journey will culminate with a wine tasting and master class on how to prepare shoti, Georgia's national bread. You'll be staying in a hotel for the night.
Day 3: Telavi – Signaghi – Tbilisi
In the morning, you will journey to Signaghi. It's a little town full of affection, with a style reminiscent of Italian charming towns. Then you'll go to the Bodbe Monastery, where Georgia's enlightener, Saint Nino, is buried. In the area, there is a spring known as "Nino's water," which flows from the ground. People believe that spring is wonderful and that it may cure a number of ailments. A visit to David Gareja, a rock-hewn monastery complex founded in the sixth century by David (St. David Garejeli), one of the thirteen Assyrian fathers, brings the voyage to a close. David Gareja's cave systems are famous all over the world for their rarity and originality. You'll be staying in a hotel for the night.
Day 4: Tbilisi – Gudauri – Tbilisi
The day starts with a visit to the medieval fortress of Ananuri, which is situated on the banks of the Zhinvali reservoir. It is a stunning architectural structure in excellent condition. It used to be an important defensive bastion that was crucial in a number of fights. Continue your drive to Gudauri, a charming resort town at an elevation of 3000 meters above sea level. This is a fantastic place to go skiing, climbing, or have an active summer vacation. You'll arrive at a magnificent Stepantsminda village at the foot of the majestic Mount Kazbek after a quick stop at the Sour Waters of Vedza. The old Gergeti Trinity Church, located 2170 meters above the hamlet, attracts visitors due to its historical significance and good location. You'll be taken up the hill to the church to witness the views and learn about Gergeti history and relics. You'll be staying in a hotel for the night.
Day 5: Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Kutaisi
You'll go to Mtskheta, the country's spiritual capital. From here, the view of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers' confluence is breathtaking. The splendor of these lakes will be impossible to overlook. You may next go to Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, Georgia's oldest and largest cathedral (XI century). Tours to the Chateau Mukhrani winery are among the must-see places for learning about Georgian winemaking traditions and secrets, as well as intriguing tales about the Georgian royal family. We'll be taken on a tour of the spectacular castle and cellars, as well as the lovely grounds and vineyards. After an exciting tour, you will return to Kutaisi. You'll spend the night in a hotel.
Day 6: Kutaisi – Martvili Canyon – Kinchkh Waterfall – Prometheus Cave – Kutaisi
You will visit Martvili Canyon in the morning, a magnificent gem of western Georgia and one of Georgia's most visited canyons. It's possible to find it in the Megrelia region. For millions of years, it has flowed, building a canyon up to 40 meters deep and 2,400 meters long. Those interested can enjoy a boat ride around the beautiful landscape. Another natural marvel of Georgia is Okatse Canyon. Kinchkha, one of the country's highest waterfalls, is located in this area. The tour continues to Prometheus Cave in Georgia, which is 20 kilometers west of Kutaisi. The cave is commonly recognized as the most popular and largest of its kind in Georgia. Spectacular stalactite and stalagmite reliefs, as well as a variety of underground streams, characterize it. You'll be going back to Kutaisi. You spend the night at a hotel.
Day 7: Kutaisi – Borjomi
In the morning, you'll see historical and natural attractions in Kutaisi and the surrounding area. The UNESCO World Heritage Site Gelati Monastery is our first stop, a well-known cultural treasure and living reminder of Georgia's Golden Age. Smooth-hewn massive block facades, harmonious proportions, and blind arches for exterior ornamentation identify it. The tour continues to Motsameta Monastery, located on a hill beneath the Tskhaltsitela-Red River. This temple is one of Georgia's most magnificent. It's a beautiful monastery edifice perched on a rocky outcropping. After the tour, you will travel to Borjomi. It is a well-known spa town that is noted for its healing mineral waters. You'll be staying in a hotel for the night.
Day 8: Borjomi – Vardzia – Uplistsikhe – Tbilisi
After breakfast, you'll go to Vardzia to learn about the Javakheti region's distinctive cultural heritage. You'll go to the St. Nino monastery, which includes a small dairy maintained by local nuns and is known for its several varieties of cheese. You proceed to Vardzia, a one-of-a-kind Golden Age cave structure, after snapping spectacular shots at Khertvisi Fortress (X century) (XII-XIII centuries). Historically, the institution served as a safe haven for locals. Visit Rabati Castle in Akhaltsikhe, a historic structure originating from the thirteenth century. Several historic castles, towers, and churches make up this amazing complex. On our way to Tbilisi, you'll see the Uplistsikhe cave town. One of Georgia's most important cultural monuments is this ancient cave settlement built into the volcanic rock of the Kvernaki mountain. Then you'll drive back to Tbilisi. You'll be staying in a hotel for the night.
