Armenia tours
Day 1: Yerevan
When you arrive in Yerevan, you will be greeted at the airport and brought to the city. After settling into the hotel, you will be given a walking tour of Yerevan's center, depending on the time of your arrival. Armenia's capital and largest city, as well as its cultural and scientific center, is Yerevan. At heights ranging from 900 to 1300 meters above sea level, the city is located in the northeastern region of the Ararat plain, bounded by the Caucasus Mountains. Yerevan prides proud of its long history, dating back to the eighth century BC. In the evening, there is a dinner option at a major restaurant with a live music program. A hotel will be used for the night.
Day 2: Yerevan – Echmiadzin – Yerevan
Your day will begin with a tour of Armenia's capital, starting at Victory Park's observation platform and ending at the Cascade, a one-of-a-kind open-air museum of modern art. Then you'll go to Echmiadzin, Armenia's spiritual capital, to see the Church of St. Hripsime (7th century) and St. Echmiadzin's Mother See Cathedral. You'll stop at Machanents Creative Center for lunch and a rest on your way back. Then you might be interested in learning more about the works of sculptor Kochar – Sasuntsi David. Day 3: Yerevan – Goris
Make your way across the Ararat valley after breakfast and checking out of the hotel to the Khor Virap monastery, whose history is tied to Armenia's embrace of Christianity in the 4th century. The discovery in the cave of Areni, which you will see, proves that wine making began on Armenian soil six thousand years ago. The world's oldest shoe, unearthed in a cave in September 2008, is still the most spectacular discovery. Then you'll go to the spectacular Noravank monastery (13th century), which is situated among red rocks in a canyon of exceptional beauty. After lunch and some sampling, you'll travel to Goris for a short relaxation. Check-in and relax. All tourists are enchanted with Evening Goris and its surroundings. Goris walking tour. According to archaeological evidence, Karahunj was once an observatory built in the sixth millennium BC. Many of the steles have holes etched in them that correspond to the 7.5 thousand-year-old locations of the stars in the sky. Then it's on to Tatev, Armenia's crown treasure of medieval architecture. The world's longest cable car, which spans the 320-meter-deep Vorotan canyon, is open to the public. Your journey will lead you to Yeghegis, where you will spend the night, after a delicious meal.

The tour will begin with a visit to the Selim Pass, which is 2500 meters above sea level. A wonderful view of the surroundings opens up from here. Cheeses that have been matured in wine and cognac are tasted. Visit the Ayrivank and Noradus Monasteries. After that, you'll have lunch and a master class with the renowned Chef in Tsaghkunk. In 874, Princess Mariam founded the Sevanavank Monastery on the peninsula, which offers a stunning view of the blue lake surrounded by mountains. A trip through the historic district will transport you to a 19th-century historical town. A hotel will be used for the night.
Day 6: Dilijan – Gyumri
After a delicious breakfast and fresh coffee, go to Armenia's Lori region. A visit to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed ancient monasteries of Sanahin and Haghpat is included in the program. Lori offers stunning views of verdant woodlands, steep Debed River valleys, and ancient tiny communities sprinkled along the river, as well as a variety of architectural attractions. Lunch is served in the adjacent Kefoe restaurant, where Armenian traditional dishes are cooked according to family recipes. After that, you'll go to Gyumri, Armenia's second largest city and a cultural center. Then it's on to Yerevan, through Mount Aragats and the Saghmosavank Monastery (Psalm Monastery), positioned on the brink of the Kasakh River's precipitous valley. Along the way, you'll come to a halt at the monument honoring the letters of the Armenian alphabet, which was erected in 2005 to mark the alphabet's 1600th anniversary. You'll be greeted with a stunning view of the canyon as soon as you arrive at the monastery. Check in and unwind in Yerevan. Overnight will be spent at a hotel.
